Dedicated and private proxies
A dedicated, or private, proxy is an address only you use. A shared one is split between a small number of customers. The plans table below says which is which.
What dedicated changes
On a dedicated address only your own behaviour affects its reputation. On a shared address another customer can trigger a block or a challenge that reaches you as well. The price difference buys that isolation.
When shared is enough
- Targets that do not rate-limit or fingerprint by address.
- Uptime and geo checks that send a handful of requests.
- Testing a line before you commit to dedicated addresses.
When to pay for dedicated
- Accounts that must keep a clean, consistent history.
- Targets that block an address after any suspicious traffic.
- Work where an unexplained block costs more than the price difference.
Premium
Premium is a dedicated plan with extras listed on the pricing page. It costs more than dedicated, so read what it adds before choosing it.
ISP plans
| Plan | Per IP, per month | Included traffic | Sharing |
|---|---|---|---|
| shared | $2.10 | 1 GB | Up to 3 users |

How many customers share a shared address?
The plans table states the number for each line.
Can I mix shared and dedicated in one account?
