Geo-targeted proxies: when country is not enough
Targeting has three levels, and each costs you some flexibility. Choose the coarsest level that gives the result you need.
Country
Enough for language, currency, legal availability and most price differences. Start here.
Region
Needed where rules or inventory differ inside a country: sales tax, regional pricing, state-level regulation, regional broadcasters.
City
Needed for local search results, delivery availability, local ad campaigns and store-level stock. It narrows the choice of addresses, so check availability before you plan a large order.
Which lines support which
ISP and datacenter support country, region and city selection, and ISP adds carrier selection. Residential does not offer location selection: the pool chooses the exit address.
Check what you got
Geolocation databases disagree with each other, sometimes by a city. Test with the databases the target is likely to use, not only one.
