Set a proxy in Chrome, Firefox or your operating system
For manual browsing from one address, point a browser at the proxy in its settings.
Get your details
Copy the host, port, username and password for your proxy from the dashboard. Where this page writes <host>, <port>, <username> or <password>, paste your own values.
Firefox
Open Settings, search for Network Settings, choose Manual proxy configuration and enter <host> and <port> in the HTTP Proxy fields. Tick the option to use this proxy for HTTPS. Firefox asks for the username and password on the first request.
Chrome and Edge
Both use the operating system's proxy settings. On macOS, open System Settings, Network, your connection, Details, Proxies, and enter the host and port for the web proxy. On Windows, open Settings, Network and internet, Proxy, and set up a manual proxy.
A cleaner way
A system-wide proxy sends all traffic through it, including things you did not mean to. A dedicated browser profile or an extension that proxies one browser only is tidier, and an anti-detect browser keeps one proxy per profile.
