Use a ProxySeller proxy with curl
curl is the quickest way to check that a proxy works before you wire it into anything else.
Get your details
Copy the host, port, username and password for your proxy from the dashboard. Where this page writes <host>, <port>, <username> or <password>, paste your own values.
Send one request
The -x flag names the proxy and -U supplies credentials. The echo service returns the IP address it saw, which should be your proxy's exit IP and not your own.
curl -x http://<host>:<port> -U "<username>:<password>" https://api.ipify.orgIf you use an IP allowlist
When your sending address is on the dashboard allowlist, leave out -U.
curl -x http://<host>:<port> https://api.ipify.orgRead the result
Compare the address you get with the one you get from the same command without -x. They should differ. A 407 status means the proxy rejected your credentials or your address is not allowlisted. See the errors guide.
