Integration guide
Use a proxy with Puppeteer
Puppeteer passes the proxy as a Chromium flag and authenticates separately on each page.
Get your details
Copy the host, port, username and password for your proxy from the dashboard. Where this page writes <host>, <port>, <username> or <password>, paste your own values.
Launch and authenticate
import puppeteer from "puppeteer";
const browser = await puppeteer.launch({
args: ["--proxy-server=http://<host>:<port>"],
});
const page = await browser.newPage();
await page.authenticate({
username: process.env.PROXY_USER,
password: process.env.PROXY_PASS,
});
await page.goto("https://api.ipify.org");
console.log(await page.evaluate(() => document.body.innerText));
await browser.close();Allowlist instead
If your server's address is on the dashboard allowlist, drop the page.authenticate call.
